1.5 Visits by DCISC Members to California State Agencies
On March 15, 2007, DCISC Vice-Chair Dr. Per F. Peterson and Legal Counsel Robert Wellington met in Sacramento with Deputy Attorney General Susan Durbin and discussed matters concerning recent Committee activities, to deliver a copy of the Committee’s 16th Annual Report and to discuss matters related to DCPP’s current operational status and recent events and the activities of the DCISC.
On May 10, 2007, DCISC Member William Conway and Assistant Legal Counsel Robert Rathie met in Sacramento with Senior Nuclear Policy Advisor Barbara Byron and Ms. Susan J. Brown, Advisor to Commissioner James D. Boyd of the California Energy Commission and discussed matters concerning recent Committee activities, to deliver a copy of the Committee’s 16th Annual Report and to discuss matters related to DCPP’s current operational status and recent events and the activities of the DCISC.
The DCISC has plans to schedule annual meetings between its members and the appointing entities and with the Commissioners or representatives of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) to provide background on and information regarding current activities of the Committee.
